Good news Toyota and Subaru are working on the next-generation Toyota 86 and Subaru BRZ. A spokesperson from Subaru has confirmed this in a conversation with Road & Track as has Toyota back in December of 2016. The Japan Times has also published a rumor that the new next-generation Toyota 86 and Subaru BRZ will arrive in the year 2021 with a 2.4 liter flat four engine. Since Subaru has just announced a new 2.4-liter four cylinder boxer engine called the FA24 this new engine is turbocharged making about 260 hp and 277 lb ft of torque. But does this mean that next Toyota 86 and Subaru BRZ will be turbocharged?
