Oldest message found in a bottle!

An Australian women found a strange glass bottle half-buried on the sand in a beach in Western Australia (Just north of Wedge Island, 112 miles north of the state capital Perth). Experts say that this bottle may be nearly 132 years old after it was thrown into the sea.

Inside the bottle, there was a message which was dated June 12, 1886 .

It was mentioned that it was thrown into “the Indian Ocean from a German sailing ship named Paula”. “This bottle was one of the thousands of bottles that were thrown into the ocean as part of a German experiment to find faster shipping routes”, quoted the Western Australian Museum.

According to the museum, the oldest message before this bottle was 108 years, 4 months, and 18 days old from the time it was jettisoned until the time it was discovered.
