Rodolfo Reza, Contributor

The City of New Orleans was shocked to hear the news that Saints and Pelicans owner Tom Benson sadly passed away on March 15, 2018, due to influenza. Being a self made millionaire running a 24/7 car dealership, leading up to him purchasing the Saints in 1985, the man changed the culture of the city. New Orleans never had a winning season until Mr. B took the rains. With 11 playoff appearances and a Super bowl 44 championship since 1985, you can see why he’s so beloved by his hometown.
