March 19, 2018
A lawsuit against Microsoft has been filed by “Frank K. Dickman Jr” of Albuquerque, N.M., the goes towards $600 million from Microsoft and its CEO Satya Nadella.
The plaintiff’s PC came with a windows 7 operating system, but then once the upgrade to windows 10 failed it became “non-functional immediately”. The upgrade deleted every file such as cached and backup data for the version of windows 7.
The owner demanded that Microsoft to supply the windows 7 operating system because “the only way to be certain of a quality Windows 7 Operating system is to obtain it from the original vendor – Microsoft Corporation.”
Although, this wasn’t his first lawsuit, according toa search of the Colorado court database, dickman has filed several different lawsuits for different matters. The problem doesn’t get any easier since the easiest way to fix the problem is no longer available, according o a Microsoft page that explains other more-complicated options.
