The Dodge Viper officially exit production on August 31, 2017 after 25 successful years of production. The Dodge Viper first debuted in 1991 in the Indianapolis 500 as a pace car. A year later after it debuted in 1991, the Viper went on sale in January 1992 as the Dodge Viper RT 10 Roadster. The Dodge Viper and it’s impressive 8.4-liter V-10 engine that puts out 645 hp have been hand-assembled at the Connor assembly plant in Detroit facility since the car was released in 1992.
