There is a lot of crime out there in the world but in some places it’s worse than others. Mexico, Venezuela and Honduras have some of the most violent cities in the world. The violence in these cities has been  mostly blamed on drug trafficking and gangs organization .

Caracas, Venezuela 

This city is known as the most violent city in all the world. The homicide rate in this city is up to 130.35 per 100,000 and this is said to be caused by gang violence and government corruption. In this city drugs are also a very common thing which makes people think that the drugs that are being used are also the reason why these homicides occur so frequently. A lot of violent protest also occur because the government doesn’t listen to the people and they get annoyed so they take out their anger on other people and begin to destroy everything they see.

Acapulco, Mexico

This city in Mexico isn’t always known for the amazing resorts it has and the beaches that are next to them. This city has become a homicide nightmare it is known as the second most violent city in the world with a rate of 113.24 per 100,000. Although this violence is not common on the sides where the resorts are at it has slowly been making its way there. Like many other cities this brutal violence is blamed on drugs and gangs that roam the city. The Federal Army has had to step into some of this violence because it is just too much to handle.

San Pedro Sula and Distrito Central, Honduras

These two cities in Honduras have the same homicide rate at 112.09 per 100,000. Honduras isn’t the most stable country in the world and it has a terrible economy. many families flee from this country because of the low opportunities one has there. These two cities combined are terrible and the people living there are sometimes frightened to go out due to the violence that is caused there. This violence is said to be caused by the drugs and gangs that dominate these cities and also because of how corrupt there government is.

There are many more horrible numbers of homicide in many other cities and that is something that should be stopped. These type of problems can only get worse if help is not in the governments mind. Innocent people sometimes die when gangs fight against each other or when someone goes crazy on the drugs they have consumed. Many people have tried to make a difference in many other things but this situation should also be concerning because it is something that can spread into a city near you very fast.
