On February 1, 2018, the lady vikings seniors played their last home game against Oxnard High School  as Hueneme says goodbye to their 7 seniors. The lady vikings played a terrific game led by coaches Salazar, Gabby, and Alex. Coach Salazar always reminds us before a game, “Just because they live in the north side of Oxnard they think they’re better than us because we live in the south side. If only they knew what they’re going up against”. Unfortunately, the lady vikings lost 1-0 in the last 3 minutes of the game. What can we say? HHS played one heck of a game. They got lucky enough to stand in the correct spot to get hit in the face for the ball to bounce in.
