Many people travel to many places and different states in order to spend the holidays with their families and friends. Also, many just travel to other state because they want to experience how the  holidays feel like in different states. I will be listing the most festive places to go to for the holidays.

Vienna, Austria

Vienna sparks with Christmas cheer as the city gets ready for their markets to come alive. With over 140 vendors selling goodies from wooden gifts to candles even to pickled jars. You can enjoy the lovely lights and enjoy the Australian treats. They also have an enormous ice skating ring on the Rathausplatz plaza.

Reykjavik, Iceland

A visit to Reykjaik will be filled with an overwhelming amount of the Christmas spirit. The city goes wild for the Christmas celebration once November is over. The city is filled with Christmas lights all over the huge tree they set up in downtown. Many people enjoy the choirs singing carols all round town and the 13 Santas that show up throughout the town.

New York City

    For many Americans, the start of the holiday season is synonymous with the lighting of the massive Christmas tree in Rockefeller Center Plaza, New York City’s veritable holiday headquarters. Tourists head to downtown in doves to enjoy the beautiful ice skating ring and all the bright lights around the buildings.

Nuremberg, Germany

More than 200 vendors squeeze into wooden stalls in Hauptmarkt Square in the city’s Old Quarter, selling traditional goods.

Taos, New Mexico

At Taos, New Mexico they have a multicultural twist by lighting up the town with little lanterns that set off a warming feeling to the town. The town has Las Posadas which is a Hispanic tradition. Bonfires are also lit and the traditional dances start.
